Refined Riding Biomechanics for Riders

Empowering equestrians of all levels to be the rider they want to be with practical exercises and tips designed to weave into your day for lasting results.

I often heard horse owners say. “I look after my horse, but not myself.” And I understand time, the cost of owning a horse, and the pace of life can lead to you neglect yourself. And as equestrians, we’re well known for battling on through those injuries. I know I’ve been there many times!

  • Postural issues which pull, push, or throw you out of alignment while you ride. Or those subtle corrections that you just can’t master.

  • Aches, pains, restrictions lead to your body not doing what you want in the saddle. Sometimes, it can even feel like you’re fighting against it.

But what if there was another option for you?

Scientifically based rider restorative exercise which targets the specific movements your body needs to make lasting changes. And how to turn your exercises into movement habits that you can use throughout your day and create real, lasting changes.

Simultaneously enhancing your riding skills, body, health and easing pain

You could go about your day and be working on your riding skills, speeding up your progression and helping your body. Taking little or no extra time, now that’s time management! And think how this would benefit your horse and strengthen your partnership.

Increasing your sense of feel (body awareness a rider’s superpower) and building better connection through your body and with your horse.

I also connect this movement work with your riding difficulties so you can understand the causes and find solutions to your riding problems.

Ride more effectively, softly with more body control, stability, balance and awareness and get the riding position you’ve been working towards.

Neglecting yourself holds you, your riding and your horse back.

Did you know the rider is the most overlooked aspect when horses develop movement issues and injuries? Many equestrians accept postural problems, aches and pains as normal, even chronic pain, believing it’s just part of aging or low expectations after injuries. How you move through your day has a huge part to play in this.
