And Movement Rehabilitation

I focus on solutions that improve your horse’s and dog’s movement, comfort, and overall health. Relieving problems, enhance performance, addressing dysfunction and maintenance care for senior horses and dogs, supportive care for pets with conformational or ongoing conditions

What to Expect from a Session

Each session is tailored to your horse’s or dog’s unique needs; I will need to know if your horse or dog is on any medication. Their work history (horse), and a brief description of issues they are encountering. See your horse or dog’s gait/movement and I may ask to see your horse lunged and under saddle where appropriate.

How Therapy Benefits your Horse and Dog

  • What is happening? - Difficulties performing certain movement, discomfort, behavioral changes, or performance issues

  • Where is it coming from? - I assess the whole body to find the root cause, as the injury and its cause are often in different areas

  • Why? - Injury, training past or present, conditioning, or lifestyle factors

  • Prevention of recurrent problems and injuries - Break the cycle of recurring strain, compensations, and discomfort.

  • Prevention, maintenance and competition preparation - Monitor your horse's development and training adaptation, catching potential issues in their early stages

  • Recovery plan - Movement restoration to optimise function, performance and longevity

Targeted Care, Ongoing Support

After therapy, I’ll provide a personalised rehabilitation plan for your horse/dog with clear explanations to support injury recovery, prevent future issues, advise on returning to normal activities, ground work, conditioning, training issues and optimal well being.
